That makes sense, with stand over and such. You're like 6' 2" arent you? What size frame are you rockin? Cuz i remember when i rode your bike it felt about right.

Hey dude, workin' on building my own rig, i really like the P3 frame, cant seem to find any "frame only" sales, where did you get yours? Size recommendation?

Bottle Rocket is a serious investment. I would stick to the hardtail til your skills develop. PLUS, hardass is the way to go
